Storytelling Tips 4-6

We all have a story. That is the truth of my 20 years in therapy and two years as the founder of StoryTelling Corner. Over the last ten years of networking, it has become clear that what’s important is telling the story well. There are top tips for gaining and maintaining impact with your story. We now perform out of Temperance Cafe, Leamington Spa. CV31 3AF and all the admission money goes to charity.
 

4. We All Have A Story: Every day, from the time you wake up until the time you go to sleep, you can add to your story.

5. Stories Can/Must Be Changed: Every time you tell a story it will be a different audience. You must be able to change the story's telling to suit the audience you are speaking to.

6. Talk To/Not At  Your Audience: There is an art to talking to your audience, whether live or on camera and each differs. To the audience make sure you make eye contact with all parts of the room. To the camera, make sure you are looking into the lens and then talk to one person...
